Irit Tamari (b. 1976, works in Tel Aviv)
MFA Graduate from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design and BED Graduate with honor from the Midrasha School of Art, Beit Berl.
Tamari addresses photography as a paradox between the depth of the documented subject and the flatness of the printed material. She cuts her photographs and constructs new worlds in two or three dimensions;
Tamari has exhibited her works in venues in Israel and abroad, among them at NADA New York, ART SOUTERRAIN Montreal, REDTORY Guangzhou, CIGE Beijing, Herzliya Museum, Ashdod museum, Mishkan Museum of Art, Kibbutz Ein Harod, Sommer Gallery, Chelouche Gallery and more.
